This poem is a collaboration between Tri Doan and Nisha Koya. The inspiration for this candle poem came from Peter Gizzi’s poem "Last Century Thoughts in Snow Tonight."

    Your poem is really good. I like that the shape is very clear, yet not smoothed out–I think that’s a good effect/easy on the eyes…

    Thanks for your comment. We created a rough-surface shape of the candle on purpose. It is a melting candle, which represents tears. 🙂
